The Sports Widow's Christmas Wish - Teammates & Correspondents Wanted

November 27, 2007 10:05 PM | 0 Comments

I just officially launched sportswidow.com and sportswidowstore.com but, as you can tell, I've been blogging about my Sports Widowhood for nearly two years now. I wanted the site to be fully loaded when I turned on the switch, so that there would be something for everyone. The best way to describe blogging without a community is that it's like talking into a tin can with a string that doesn't connect to anyone else.

SW Christmas

My greatest Christmas Wish is that this web site will move from a monologue to a dialogue, that I can connect with my teammates from the Sports Widow Nation. I'm also looking for correspondents, Sports Widows who can share their own unique perspective about what life is like if you are a specialist: e.g. a Football Widow, a Basketball Widow, a Baseball Widow, a Golf Widow. I'd also like to know what components you'd like to see on the site or if there are topics you'd like me to discuss.

Tell me your Sports Widow story, and you could be featured on sportswidow.com. Also, let me know if you are interested in being a regular contributor and why.

P.S. Have a wonderful holiday! Seize the Remote...and hug your sports fan, family and friends.
