Our Destiny: The Little League Baseball State Championship

The Red Bulls are going to State! Yeah, they won the District 7 (I think that’s the number) Tournament, and they are now statebound (don’t ask me the final score). Yes, this means the 9/10-year-olds are heading to Vancouver.
At first I got really excited, because Vancouver is such an international city and we’d probably be able to wedge in some sightseeing, but then I remembered we’re talking state, which means our destination is not Vancouver, B.C., but instead Vancouver, WA, which is near Portland, OR. Anyway, geography has never been my strong suit. For instance, if we went to nationals, I would be fantasizing about Paris, France, as a potential location, but again this would be illogical, wouldn’t it? More like, Paris, TN.
Here's the great news: No game tomorrow. A week off from practices.
Here's the angst: After the break, practices resume (2 times per day) and more games. I am excited for Austin and his teammates, but My, Oh My, what a marathon.
